Business Development Manager

Salary: £55k - £75k plus OTE Location: Home Based London

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business relationships and opportunities for the company’s product portfolio. This individual should be a seasoned sales professional with proven success selling into UK and European retailers. The ability to build successful executive relationships with customers and prospects is a must.  Our client is seeking a dynamic candidate who can excel in this position through a balance of building on past experiences and continuing to innovate in response to the ever-changing market and industry conditions.

You will spearhead the sales effort to meet and exceed revenue targets.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategy, planning, projections, pricing
  • Build, lead, train and motivate for optimal performance.
  • Network at a senior level to generate new leads and new business opportunities
  • Ensure effective interaction & communication between sales team and product teams

Experience Needed

  • A relevant background in the retail industry
  • Gift Card experience is essential
  • Extensive sales experience with a proven track record in new business sales
  • Strong commercial acumen and an ability to understand the customer’s business needs
  • Experience of building and leading a team of people
  • Experience in international markets.
