The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business relationships and opportunities for the company’s product portfolio. This individual should be a seasoned sales professional with proven success selling into UK and European retailers. The ability to build successful executive relationships with customers and prospects is a must. Our client is seeking a dynamic candidate who can excel in this position through a balance of building on past experiences and continuing to innovate in response to the ever-changing market and industry conditions.
You will spearhead the sales effort to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Execute sales strategy, planning, projections, pricing
- Build, lead, train and motivate for optimal performance.
- Network at a senior level to generate new leads and new business opportunities
- Ensure effective interaction & communication between sales team and product teams
- A relevant background in the retail industry
- Gift Card experience is essential
- Extensive sales experience with a proven track record in new business sales
- Strong commercial acumen and an ability to understand the customer’s business needs
- Experience of building and leading a team of people
- Experience in international markets.
