Our client, a small market- leading software company delivers payments solutions with software that is used worldwide
Currently recruiting for a technical pre-sales consultant to work within the companies channel management and marketing department.
In this role you will work alongside the Senior channel manager and assist in developing new customers while strengthening the existing customer base. You will need to have a strong technical background, experience of retail Point of sale, POS, or EPOS is a must.
It is essential to have excellent commercial awareness and people skills.
This role will provide a key interface between product development and channel management in providing market intelligence to influence the product roadmap.
The right candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical pre-sales or consulting role within a card present payment software or service company together with in-depth knowledge of payments solutions, industry standards and retail point of sales operations
You should be technically skilled with a customer-focused mind and have excellent communication skills, any previous experience in writing and presenting technical proposals would be great
To be considered for this role you should also have experience in developing and delivering effective presentations, an understanding of software design and Agile software development methodologies and the ability to work independently and to be proactive
Other key skills include analytical and problem solving skills and a willingness to travel within a wide geographical area including abroad
