Regional Business Development Manager

Salary: £65k - £90k plus package Location: London

Our client is a high-growth payments innovator, focusing on providing solutions to the business-to-business payments market. They are looking to recruit a Regional Business Development Manager to be based in London with some European travel. You will create, maintain and close new and existing customers in line with business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • To create, maintain and close business to grow product revenue and profitability
  • Initiate business development meetings and sign new clients in line with strategies
  • Work with the director of marketing to identify campaigns
  • Provide regular updates to executive management of progress against sales strategies
  • Keep up to date with market trends in the virtual card industry
  • The position will also include managing product solution with internal partners
  • To participate in regular sales meetings and update on priorities for pipeline

Key Experience Needed 

  • Excellent knowledge of the commercial card payment industry is vital
  • A network within the card issuing and commercial card space
  • You will be a self-starter and highly motivated
  • A proven record of sales in the commercial card and virtual card industry
  • Knowledge of card schemes would be beneficial
  • Experience in creating and implementing business development strategies
