This UK Partner Manager opportunity will require the right candidate to identify new Referral and Reseller Partner opportunities within the UK market. Role will involve managing the sales cycle and closing of commercial agreements with Partners who fit within the agreed target partner profile.
We are not looking for candidates with a background in Relationship / Account Management, this is a new business acquisition role and it is essential that the candidates are from this background.
For this role the key attributes and experience we are looking for are:
•Experienced & successful new business acquisition sales person
•Ideally from a Mid-Market (larger / more complex opportunity) back ground where they will be familiar with longer sales cycles (8 weeks to 6 months) and potentially contract negotiations
•Able to prospect and build their own pipeline of potential new partner opportunities
•Card Payments experience ideal but not a necessarily essential for the right candidate, they should however have worked in a target driven environment (Telecoms, Advertising for example)
This is a home based role with travel -Our established client is looking for a candidate who has Business Development and partner management experience. The role would suit someone who has experience of identifying and managing partner relationships.
It would be great if you came from within the payments industry, but this is not essential. As the position is home based the right candidate will be self managing and will have worked from home ideally in the past.
You must be able to show you can influence at all levels, from well-established resellers, to smaller integrated partners
Salary is £50k, plus up to 40% comm and car allowance of £6k
Duties and responsibilities will include building and maintaining a pipeline of potential UK ISV Referral and Reseller Partners
Identifying & winning prospective ISV (Independent Software Vendors) Partners and understanding the commercial, technical and product requirements necessary to win a prospective partnership
Other responsibilities include managing the sales cycle effectively, co-ordinating any required technical support, working with the relationship management and implementation teams to ensure new partners are handed over, boarded effectively and generating revenue
To be considered for this position you should have B2B sales experience within a target driven environment, ideally in the Card Payments market but as mentioned this is not essential. Experience of stakeholder management at senior levels and good commercial awareness
