£40-50k plus OTEOur client is looking for a solid Business Development Manager who can hit the ground running selling the company’s product. The successful candidate will have goods contacts with SMEs and e-commerce retails. This role will cover the UK and European market to bring in maximum revenue.
Professional Experience:
- Extensive account management skills and sales experience (5 to 10 years)
- Successful career background with a top international PSP or acquiring bank
- Extensive relevant knowledge and active networking in the financial services industry
- Familiar with the demands of international cross-border and e-commerce acquiring
- Demonstrate proven ability to develop and successfully achieve quantifiable sale revenue plans

Responsibilities:
- Develop Key Account relationships with PSPs and Merchants
- Identify and acquire new merchant accounts in various industries in UK and continental Europe
- Responsible for account management activities in UK
- Develop strong and enduring reseller and merchant relationships based on a strong understanding of their market organisational politics and future strategy
- Deliver market information to implement customized global solutions that improve revenue generation and enhance profitability
- Develop strong internal relationships within Reseller and not card related payment service provides
- Responsible for administrative and operational issues including planning and budget/expense management for tradeshows, conferences
- Develops direct reports to deliver business opportunities that increase volume, volume share and revenue.
