We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading payment provider that operate globally. They are looking to hire an account manager to be based in London. This is a hybrid working position with a requirement to be present in a head office for 2 days a week.  You will be responsible for managing and nurturing key long lasting relationships with your core clients and accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and appreciate the commercial model of each client within your portfolio
  • Review, and where necessary discuss and re-negotiate existing contracts
  • Drive growth from the portfolio and achieve revenue targets
  • Build and maintain relationships within each client
  • Enhance customer engagement, maximise revenue and retention
  • Responsible for raising and managing issues and concerns relating to clients
  • Understand peaks, troughs and anomalies with regards transactions patterns
  • Provide clear information at all times to clients regarding regulations, security and compliance matters
  • Work with technical support team to manage the integration of clients to the platform

Requirements

  • You must have experience working in account management
  • Industry experience working in acquiring, digital wallets or payment processing is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the payments industry in particular Cryptocurrency
  • Highly customer focused with solid experience supporting larger accounts
  • You will be commercially aware with ability to think strategically and spot new opportunities
  • Ability to understand complex pricing and negotiate where required
  • Confident presentation style and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
