Our client, a leading challenger bank based in London is looking for a highly motivated, autonomous, forward-thinking Business Development lead. Someone with gravitas and drive, someone with a proven record of successfully driving forward growth through increasing revenues and with the ability to travel across Europe to meet potential clients (restriction dependant).
To be considered for this new opportunity potential applicants must have a proven track record of securing profitable new business and experience of negotiating substantial contracts.
This is a stand- alone senior sales opportunity so the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a tenacity to work independently and to be self-driven. Reporting to the Managing Director, this senior position will be to lead the business development of the Bank, focussing on payments.
Main Responsibilities will include taking responsibility for developing and executing the business development strategy and for planning and managing the day to day running of the business development function
We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can manage client expectations and embrace innovation and change.
The ideal candidate will have a payments industry background. Other ideal requirements will be that potential candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of Mastercard and Visa scheme rules
