Our client is a start-up business that specialises in providing a support solution to their Fintech and Payment clients.  They have grown at a rapid pace and now need to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team to be responsible for new business, to manage the entire sales cycle and to implement  a coherent sales strategy.

Some of the role will include:

  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies and taking key decisions
  • Understanding client requirements to ensure that their needs are met
  • Identifying market opportunities, setting standard commercials and developing a winning proposition
  • Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Work closely with the wider business for revenue success
  • Research and identify new business opportunities
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Facilitate meetings – be those via video, phone or face to face
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business and Fintech world

You will ideally have the below experience:

  • Proven experience at Business Development Manager level
  • A strong history of delivering commercial results in a competitive environment
  • Ability to deal with C-level executives
  • Knowledge of the Fintech or Payments industry a real plus
  • The ability to sell a solution or technical platform
  • Excellent communication skills
