Our client, an exciting Fin-Tech is looking for a COO. The business is at an exciting stage of growth and it is time to further scale the business to reach the next levels of expansion. Reporting into the CEO, as COO you will be responsible for ensuring the successful
continuing operations of the business and seeking out product and operational improvements.

The right candidate is working currently or has recently worked for an issuer, or for a programme manager,  an issuing background is essential, we are looking for someone who understands issuing and who ideally also has some prepaid knowledge or experience  – A background in the cards and payments industry is a must have. Someone who understands how the payments supply chain works. 

In this post you will help shape the future of the business by being central to the development and implementation of the operational strategy. You must be proactive and hands-on with a willingness to lead and motivate others whilst managing the role of a cross functional leader.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Working with senior management to define the strategy for the business
Delivering strategic projects
Driving product improvements with the development team.
Owning of the on-boarding of new clients and supporting the account management team
Being the integration point for the functional teams, analysing the business and identifying improvement areas and opportunities
Owning key relationships with suppliers and members of the value chain
Overseeing the business performance reporting

The right candidate should have a minimum of 3-4 years experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business
operations,or similar,  together with outstanding project management and leadership skills, a proactive attitude, and an
entrepreneurial mind-set.
