Our client is a fintech start up who are providing payments solutions regulated by the FCA. They are now recruiting for an experienced customer support executive to own the customer services function. You will be confident and client focused with experience in financial services, e-commerce or payments. This is a versatile role where you will be dealing with customers via the telephone, email and via a live messenger system.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude for customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries and acknowledging customer complaints
  • Communicating with customers through various channels including via the telephone, email or live messenger
  • To understand and to become knowledgeable on the company products and services
  • Processing orders, applications, and requests based on client requirements
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints on the database
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
  • Assisting with client onboarding and KYC when required

Requirements:

  • Commercial and demonstrable experience in a client focused role
  • Experience is customer service is essential
  • Professional telephone manner with good listening skills is a must
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and CRM systems
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English essential
  • Good team player with problem solving skills
  • Payments experience ideally in e-money would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of working in banking, financial services, e-commerce or wider payments
  • Basic concepts of client onboarding, compliance or KYC would be beneficial
