Data and Fraud Analyst

Our client is a fintech business offering fraud solutions to their clients. The software allows companies to track and monitor fraudulent transactions when online payments are made. Due to business expansion they are looking for a data analyst to join the team in London. You will ideally have payments industry experience in the acquiring or PSP space. Experience of working with online fraudulent transactions is preferred but not essential.

The role

  • Analyse customer fraud and risk challenges
  • Providing direct support as well as gathering information of these challenges for the customer success team
  • Work directly with other fraud and risk analysts
  • Joining customer workshops to ensure best practices on a regular basis
  • To help create fraud monitoring policies
  • Support customers by answering questions and solving problems
  • Working with the product team and the technology teams
  • Supporting the technology team to deliver solutions in line with customer needs

The experience

  • Commercial experience ideally within a payments environment – acquiring or payment gateway knowledge a distinct advantage
  • Agile Methodology experience required (Scrum)
  • Programming experience in Python, LUA or JavaScript is required, at a basic level
  • Database skills such as SQL or data analysis experience is essential
  • Experience of analysing or working in a fraud would be a plus
