We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a global payment provider for an experienced Key Account Manager. You will be an experienced client relationship manager with a proven track record of growing and owning large accounts. Ideally you will have a payment gateway or acquiring background, but this isn’t essential. You must have experience of looking after or a background working in gaming or FX.

The job in more detail:

  • To maintain as well as expand a sound knowledge of the digital payment wallet space and how the changes to technology will impact on clients
  • Provide key accounts with efficient and strategic service including customer support and assisting with integrations when needed
  • To show a strong understanding of the payment gateway model to effectively grow each account
  • Work with the marketing, product and compliances teams internally
  • Building a business pipeline within accounts by regularly contacting key contacts for account reviews and resolving any issues

The background you’ll have:

  • Ideally you will be degree educated but this is not essential
  • You must have some prior account management or business development experience
  • Proven experience working in a customer centric role
  • Previous and proven knowledge of the igaming or FX industry essential – this can be working direct for a gaming or FX provider or previous experience having them as accounts
  • Strong knowledge of the payments industry desired
  • To be highly customer focused with solid experience supporting large key accounts and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience in drafting proposals and presenting in front clients needed
  • You must be available for travel across Europe when required
  • Excellent communication skills and command of English essential with additional languages skills being a strong plus
