Our client are a consultancy offering payments advisory and delivery consultancy services into range of well-known business in the UK. They specialise in the payments industry and are working with a start up fintech offering a ‘buy now pay later’ solution. Due to business expansion, the team are looking for a back office operations and settlements coordinator. You will be responsible for customer services as well as administrative support. Working remotely on a fixed term basis for 12 months and reporting to the Operations Director.

The job:

· Provide efficient and effective general administrative support

· Undertake day-to-day customer service activities, resolving customer issues and liaising with relevant suppliers

· Monitor the software platform and help resolve issues as they arise

· Talking and liaising with customers, merchants, i third-party suppliers

· Take responsibility for daily banking reconciliation and settlement reporting in order to process merchant payments

· Analyse sales transactions within agreed timescales to identify potential fraud using the tools provided

· Assist with the management of the CRM system

· Assisting in managing up-to-date company documents including records, contracts, policies and procedures.

The requirements:

· Educated to GCSE level or above

· Administration experience, preferably with financial administration experience and the ability to learn the settlement reporting process quickly

· Excellent IT skills including MS Office essential

· An understanding of the Buy Now Pay Later market would be an advantage

· A general understanding of software, databases, websites needed

· Strong numeracy and accurate data entry skills

· Excellent literacy and communication skills

· Reconciliations and settlements experience a preference
