Our client is a fintech business offering money transfer solutions. Due to business expansion they are looking to hire a sales support executive to be based in London. You will be responsible for managing sales admin and creating sales opportunities through contacting potential clients via the phone and email. This would suit someone who has worked in sales before and is happy to create business leads (pre-existing contacts) for the business development team.  Previous relationship management or customer service experience is also welcome. The successful candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish.

The job:

  • To support the development of business opportunities within the sales team
  • Look for business opportunities within existing relationships
  • Being the first point of contact for all client & inbound sales inquiries
  • Taking calls and dealing with both incoming/outgoing leads
  • Managing the CRM system for new business pipeline and existing accounts
  • Providing ongoing support to all sales processes and contributing to the sales effort where required
  • Marking up and amending documents for business development purposes
  • Following up on old business leads and creating new business pipelines to which will then be passed to the sales team
  • Set appointments for the business development managers to close the qualified leads

The skills:

  • Relevant sales support, account management or similar experience is essential
  • Commercial experience in telemarketing or phone sales is preferred
  • Experience using CRM/sales software
  • Good knowledge of the payment industry/fintech industry or Banking and financial services experience is a distinct advantage
  • Understanding of API and system integration a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • This role requires the job holder to be a Spanish speaker and English Speaker – Fluent written, presentation and verbal communication skills essential
  • You will need to be resilient and be able to take rejection when making new business calls
  • Degree educated is preferred but not essential
