Our client, a global leading digital bank are looking for a highly motivated, autonomous, forward-thinking Business Development lead to be based in the UK.  To be considered for this new opportunity potential applicants must have a proven track record of securing profitable new business in B2B financial services and ideally in the Fintech space.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth in the expanding financial services industry selling payment services such as money remittances and issuing
  • Lead the planning of the business development function, including identifying new areas of growth for business.
  • Perform industry and competitor analysis to deliver an intelligent approach to sales.
  • Actively participate in relevant industry conferences and networking events (panellist, presenter, lead generation).
  • Create external relationships with prospective and existing clients, stakeholders and partners to promote

Requirements:

  • You will have commercial business development experience selling payment solutions, ideally with a prepaid or card issuing background
  • You will be to demonstrate success in driving forward growth and increasing revenues
  • Ability to travel across Europe to meet potential clients
  • You will need a proven track record of securing profitable new business and negotiating substantial contracts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential
  • An understanding of Mastercard and Visa schemes would be beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
  • An understanding of the regulatory environment in financial services a bonus
