Our client is a growing successful Fintech offering open banking solutions to clients globally. Looking to hire a senior level business development manager to work in the UK and across Europe. This hire is at VP level and will require some team management experience. You will work from home with travel as required. You must have consultative sales experience, ideally in payments, financial services or the technology industry. B2B sales experience is essential with a background in closing large high value accounts.

You will:

  • To be responsible for direct sales and manage the end to end process for your own pipeline
  • You will be  prospecting large complex accounts within the financial services space
  • Working closely with members of the commercial sales team and leading them on sales targets and approach
  • Work in a strategic manner to engage prospect clients with your knowledge of the product
  • Show your leads that you can demonstrate confidence and understanding of the proposition and offering tailored for them


  • To demonstrate an established career in sales and success within a B2B sales role at senior enterprise level
  • Demonstrating key skills in presenting, consulting, engaging and closing deals with customers
  • Able to build and execute a clear strategy plan alongside mentoring a sales team – a player manager approach
  • Strong business standard communication skills
  • Business capability in one or more European languages is an advantage
  • Open banking, payments, acquiring or fintech industry knowledge is essential
